This weeks Trifextra is right up my alley. As a lover of mythology and Buddhism I was extremely excited to see this prompt….so many ideas made it difficult to pin down only one….Here is what Trifecta had to say:

Buddhist cosmology tells of Trāyastriṃśa , or the Heaven of Thirty-Three gods, which rule over the human realm.  This weekend we’re asking for exactly 33 of your own words about a god of your own devising that shares heaven with the other thirty-two gods.  Make it yours and have fun with it. “

Join the Trifecta fun …click here to show us your 33

Here is my bit :

KELILE AND KAYIN :

THE PROTECTOR AND AWAITED CHILD

—————————————————————————-

Kayin was arahant.

 Listening to earthly souls.

They thought him foolish.

Not knowing Listening’s wisdom.

Hearing Them.

Silently..telling of his arrival.

“IT IS WRITTEN”

Kelile

– the gate-

-their protector-

smiled thinking of

Kasson.

    • Thank you Bjorn.
My dog is African (a Rhodesian Ridgeback) and Kasson is to me my sons name.
After reading “Anansi Boys” by Neil Gaiman I gained an affinity for African gods…It was a great prompt…your picture was awe striking…such beautiful words.
I’m in the hospital right now…so people like yourself keep my spirits up by sharing imagination, words and beauty.
Hope you are well my dear.
