Finally, a chance to write….and for one of my favorite challenges!

This week Trifecta’s Trifextra  week 100, (click to throw down 33 words of wonder), is starting us off…then asking for an additional 33 of our own.

Here is what Trifecta has to saw regarding the prompt:

” This week we are asking you to count syllables.  And words.  It’s a lot of math for those of us who might be more accustomed to dealing with words, but we’re confident you can pull it off. We are asking for a 33-word response to the following snippet:

The first time I saw. . .

Here’s the catch: all of your 33 words must be one syllable each.  We’re going low-brow on your this week.  Or not.  Can you class it up under these restrictions?  Give us your best.
To clarify, we are giving you 5 words.  We want another 33 from you, for a grand total of 38.

Hopefully I avoid sounding like our cave father (and mother) pre cursors!….Here goes…grunt grunt!

Worst day of life.

 Hell by my choice.

The first time I saw him,

Hearts threw  clichés.

Awed Love at first sight.

Fates quite strange hand.

His  eyes said..

mark this day.

For it is our gift.

Thoughts, you must Augment

Show your soul is Gold

Often difficult..the Ascent

A journey brave and Bold

To Graciously admit

the errors of your ways

 Finds your Heart gilded

In Peaceful jewels of Days

To heed words of those

who’ve learned from errors Past

Will show your heart pure

 In legacy that will Last

“If it is not right do not do it; if it is not true do not say it.”
― Marcus Aurelius,

“Just that you do the right thing. The rest doesn’t matter. Cold or warm. Tired or well-rested. Despised or honored. Dying…or busy with other assignments. Because dying, too, is one of our assignments in life. There as well: “To do what needs doing.” Look inward. Don’t let the true nature of anything elude you. Before long, all existing things will be transformed, to rise like smoke (assuming all things become one), or be dispersed in fragments…to move from one unselfish act to another with God in mind. Only there, delight and stillness…when jarred, unavoidably, by circumstances, revert at once to yourself, and don’t lose the rhythm more than you can help. You’ll have a better grasp of the harmony if you keep going back to it.”
― Marcus AureliusMeditations

“If someone is able to show me that what I think or do is not right, I will happily change, for I seek the truth, by which no one was ever truly harmed. It is the person who continues in his self-deception and ignorance who is harmed.” ― Marcus AureliusMeditations

“Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.”
― Marcus AureliusMeditations

Waste no more time arguing about what a good man should be. Be one.”
― Marcus AureliusMeditations

Accept the things to which fate binds you, and love the people with whom fate brings you together, but do so with all your heart.”
― Marcus AureliusMeditations

Constant drain on my brain.

Slowly driving me insane.

Use all my strength try to regain.

Fades in and out releases the pain.

Everything goes away.

Everything ends one day.

Even if you try to stay.

Everything goes away.

And it’s a sad thing when you’d rather be sleeping,

Than living your life. Not to worry death is creeping.

So frustrated you begin to sweat.

Leaving your clothing musty and wet.

It’s how you cry without using your eyes.

Push away the lies. I wish i could fly.

Even if I could I’d have nowhere to go.

I try so hard to go against the flow.

But God has his say. He makes you stay.

Gets in the way. Forgets yesterday.

We suffer while he plays.

I see; no future live in the now. I’m oh so alone.

No place feels like home.

I have no one at all.

I have only myself as I fall.

Entry #2:

Title:  Who am I?

Who am I?  What am I? And how can i get by.

I need to try need to fly, on my own. No more enhancements no more getting stoned.

Who am I? What am I?    I am control, I am the power.

Nowhere is home. Surrounded by friends and family yet i feel so alone.

In many ways I am. The things i believe they could never understand.

I’ll have to change myself on my own, but i may need a push from caring hands.

If you say you care when you really don’t, that’s ok.

But i don’t want your help so just stay away.

I grow tired of the same old things all the time.

I’m addicted and need to change the blame is mine.

Gonna do it for myself , do it for my health.

Have to do it for my future, do it for my wealth.

But it’s a long hard road from here to there.

Living the way i have been no wonder life seems unfair.

Step out-of-body, take a look in.

Realize now I must do things differently than i have been.

Have to keep in mind that I am control i am the power.

Now is the time to devour.

Devour and cure this disguised infection.

Purify get it together, look in the mirror at another reflection.

Of a new self. evolved, with a clear brain.

A version of myself that has change so much, yet is still so much the same.

Reach a higher level and leave this one below.

I know i can because I’m in charge. This is my show.

I’ll determine how the end will be.

But I may need support so if i ask, help me.

written at age 19, seems to be life’s fluctuating struggle, but its better than before. Much Much better.

Trifextra: #79- Look Up More

This weeks Trifextra (<-click to join the fun) challenges gives us visual inspiration and goes a little something like this:

“This weekend we’re asking for 33 of your own words inspired by the following photo”.

Here’s my 33, hope you enjoy the trinity tale:

No Pain.

Look down, count  eyelets of shoes.

Happiness ripped from  chest, lay bleeding on  lovers.

An empty shell shadow soul.

“Do you have the time”?

Beauty exchanged baggage.

Look up more.
